AVA GmbH & Co. KG (Herrsching, Germany), which was acquired in 2018, was merged within the BHS-Sonthofen Group with the previous Filtration division on 1 January 2021 to form the new subsidiary BHS-Sonthofen Process Technology GmbH & Co. KG. It is headquartered in Sonthofen, with a second location in Herrsching. This move means a bundling of the expertise of the Process Technology division in the process steps of filtration, mixing, drying, granulation, sterilization, and reaction in the future. Here, customers in the process industry, mainly from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as from the food and animal feed industries, will receive individual and innovative process engineering solutions – whether integrated, turnkey system solutions or individual machines and components. The range of services includes a wide range of after-sales services, in addition to development, design, process consulting, and sales.
