Efficiently Separating Gypsum and Paper: Processing Under Realistic Conditions

When recycling drywall, it’s not just the quality of the recovered gypsum that matters. The clean separation of paper and gypsum is also a key challenge. This is because material from demolition is anything but homogeneous: paper, cardboard, wallpaper scraps, metals, and other contaminants must be reliably separated from the gypsum. To achieve this, BHS combines various shredding, sorting, and grading methods into a process tailored to the specific material.

While the DKX 1.67 S model has been in successful use worldwide for over a decade, the latest generation has now been successfully commissioned.
