BHS-Sonthofen receives order for BASF battery recycling plant

September 1, 2023
BHS-Sonthofen is supplying BASF with a plant for the mechanical reprocessing of lithium-ion batteries into black mass. This marks the third large-scale plant for BHS, with the first one having operated successfully for over a year. As a result, customers can benefit from the combined experience and know-how of BHS, providing them with increased investment security.

Two rubber belt filters for fly ash processing in Singapore

Collectively known as Tuas Nexus, the facility is an innovative and sustainable solution to meet Singapore’s long-term solid waste management and used water treatment needs. Tuas Nexus is the integration of the National Water Agency (PUB)’s Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (Tuas WRP) and the National Environment Agency (NEA)’s Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF). The “FAW” procedure from system supplier AIK Technik AG is used to treat the fly ash of the waste gases produced in the waste incineration process. BHS-Sonthofen supplied two particularly large rubber belt filters for this purpose.

BHS-Sonthofen Supports Local Fire Department with €10,000 Donation

BHS-Sonthofen supports the Sonthofen Fire Department with a donation of €10,000 for the purchase of new equipment. With the two wastewater pumps already acquired, the fire department is now equipped with modern technology to provide rapid and effective assistance in the event of flooded basements, weirs or other flood damage.

Daniel Zeiler – the new head of Recycling Technology

The new year begins with a change at BHS-Sonthofen: Daniel Zeiler will be taking over as the head of Recycling Technology division. He replaces Alfred Weber, who had successfully managed sales for the Recycling Technology division since 2007 and retired at the end of last year.
