Precise filtration on a micro-scale
Efficiency starts right from the initial analysis. Many projects in our filtration laboratory begin with the compact pocket leaf filter PLF. With a filter area of just 20 cm², we can quickly and – thanks to its mobile design – conveniently determine all critical parameters in both pressure and vacuum modes. In addition to throughput rates and washing curves, these parameters include, in particular, the optimal cake thickness, the achievable purity of the filter cake, and the most suitable filter medium.
Thanks to its "plug-and-play" format and integrated sight glasses, the cake formation process can be monitored directly in real time. The reproducible data obtained in this manner serve as a reliable foundation for the precise design of your production machinery, or as a well-founded starting point for subsequent pilot-scale testing under real-world conditions.
Test Center for mixing, drying & reacting
