In natural substance extraction applications, plant residues are first suspended in water or solvents and filtered subsequently. Our indexing belt filters (type BF) and rotary pressure filters (RPF) are perfectly suited for solid-liquid separation. Both systems are closed units that allow several stages of filter cake treatment to be performed. The valuable resources are dissolved from the liquid in a way that is gentle on the product. They can then be further processed in many ways that serve the needs of the pharmaceutical or food industry. The systems deliver high yields despite very low consumable requirements.
