Rotorshredder and Rotor Impact Mill in modernized processing lines at lmmark AG. As is so often the case, something big started small. In 1936, Gustav Thommen founded a scrap metal trading company in Basel. This marked the birth of today's Thommen Group with its 25 locations in five countries.
BHS-Sonthofen has now further optimised its rotor shredder based on many years of operating experience with customers. The machine is characterised by greater wear resistance and ease of maintenance. In recent projects, the rotor shredder has proven itself particularly in the applications of waste incinerator bottom ash (IBA) and electronic scrap, light metal scrap and white lead processing.
Building materials supplier Dachser is currently expanding and optimizing its gravel plant in Türkheim by integrating a second rotor impact mill of type RPM 1113 from BHS-Sonthofen GmbH, Sonthofen/Germany. In addition, BHS supplied the complete control system to ensure seamless coordination of the two machines. This makes the plant easier to operate and also increases productivity and efficiency.
Most people use electronic devices without giving much thought to the end of their lives. Envie, a French specialist in the recycling of electrical and electronic scrap, focuses on safety and sustainability. To do so, the company has two technological aces up its sleeve: a primary shredder (VSR) and a Rotorshredder (RS) from BHS-Sonthofen.
