BHS-Sonthofen is a member of the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA) (www.recyclemetals.org), which represents the UK’s metals recycling sector. The BMRA represents over 250 organizations and comprises an estimated 2,500 companies operating across the UK metals recycling sector.
The bvse Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e.V. (Federal Association of Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal, www.bvse.de/) headquartered in Bonn, Germany, represents approximately 950 medium-size enterprises of the secondary raw material, recycling and disposal industry. This makes bvse the respective industry association with the largest membership in Germany and Europe. As an associate member, BHS-Sonthofen, like the other member companies, is committed to supplying industry, trade and commerce with (secondary) raw materials to help conserve natural resources.
With around 3,300 members, the VDMA – The German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association [Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.] (www.vdma.org) – is the largest industrial association in Europe and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is a network organization and the most important voice for the mechanical engineering industry in Germany and Europe. Within the VDMA, BHS-Sonthofen is a member of the “Waste and Recycling Technology” trade association, which represents the technical and economic interests of its member companies. The BHS Recycling & Environment division benefits from the extensive experience shared and networking at the events held by the trade association. The VDMA offers both tailored training measures and access to key statistical figures for the market.
