Over 1,000 years of employee service celebrated

BHS-Sonthofen now had reason to celebrate: 52 employees at the German sites in Sonthofen, Herrsching am Ammersee and Babenhausen will look back on a total of more than 1,000 years of operation in 2022 - more than twice as many as the company can count with its 400-year history.

Thirty employees celebrated their 10th anniversary in the last two to three years, eleven look back on 25 years, one celebrates 35 years of service and five employees have been firmly anchored in the company for 40 years. A total of five employees have been with the company for 45 years. All 52 employees celebrating anniversaries at the German sites in Sonthofen, Herrsching am Ammersee and Babenhausen together have an incredible 1,087 years of service. Due to the Corona situation, however, this could not be celebrated properly until now and was therefore made up for recently. At the anniversary celebration on November 15 at the Hotel Krone in Stein, Dennis Kemmann, Managing Director of BHS-Sonthofen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Christof Kemmann and Commercial Director Martin Lutz paid tribute to the guests of honor from the three German sites in Sonthofen, Herrsching and Babenhausen. In the pre-Christmas atmosphere, Dennis Kemmann highlighted the special achievements and merits of the employees for the mechanical engineering expert. "A traditional company like BHS-Sonthofen not only has its roots in industry-leading products and solutions, but also grows primarily thanks to the commitment of its employees. Our jubilarians make an important contribution to the company's success every day and are the driving force behind future innovations," Kemmann emphasized.

In view of so much loyalty among the workface, BHS-Sonthofen is looking optimistic into the future: with focus on futuristic and innovative process solutions in all of the three compartments there can be a strong performance in 2023 expected.
